1) Abstract
In this Article, I will analyze why the two TOC Thinking Process techniques, Jonah Skill and fE Skill, developed by Dr. Eliyahu Goldratt, are still utilized separately right now. Originally, TOC Thinking Process is a systematic Method to solve comprehensive problems lying in the organization as depicted in It's Not Luck (1994). It is a method that using five tree diagrams to "Analyze the problems of an organization”(What to Change), "Draw a solution” (What to Change to), and "design a path” to get there (How to Change).
Not only Jonah Skill, Dr. Goldratt launched a non-profit organization (NPO) called TOC for Education (TOCfE) in 1995 in order to realize educational reform for children. Dr. Goldratt himself arranged the TOC Thinking Process Skills into the fE Skill System, a tool that can be used by children, parents, and teachers same. The fE tool consists of "Branch", "Cloud", and "ATT (Ambitious Target Tree)", and it is designed to be used according to the developmental stage of the child. It is very unfortunately, there is a misconception among some people that "fE skills" are a simplified version of Jonah skills.
Therefore, the purpose of this article is as follows
To examine the reasons why the two skills of TOC Thinking Process, "Jonah" and "fE", stand side by side from the perspective of developmental science of children's growth and development.
By doing this, to clear up the misconceptions
Reevaluate the correctness of Dr. Goldratt's work.
